As a part of its ongoing commitment of service to the community,

New Sunny Mount Community Outreach Mission (NSMCOM) is pleased to provide year eight of it Summer Youth Academy.  "Summer Youth Academy 2016" offers a nurturing, structured environment designed to help our youth maintain or exceed the learning pace of their grade level, to broaden their intellectual horizons and interest, to enjoy a stimulating health education and exercise program, and expand their social and communications skills. 


NSMCOM'S approach to structuring and growing its Summer Youth Academy is to integrate and balance instruction in the areas of academics, physical activities and health, social and relationship skills, to the greatest benefit of our  students.  It is our commitment to the community that confirms our belief that, through the Summer Youth Academy experience, we help shape the community leaders of tomorrow.  This year, 2016, we are including a "Rites of Passage" initiative that is designed particularly for our boys, which will include Black History, Spiritual awareness, personal value and self respect, personal responsiblities, and respect for others.
